Cookies and storage

Last updated 1 September 2026

This site sets no cookies. It stores one thing in your browser, and it never leaves your device.

What we store

NameTypePurposeLifetime
themelocalStorageRemembers whether you chose light or dark, so the page does not flash the wrong one on your next visit. Choosing “System” deletes it.Until you clear site data or switch back to System

That is the complete list. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no session identifiers, no fingerprinting. We do not know who you are and we are not trying to find out.

Clearing it

Set the theme control in the header back to System and the entry is removed. Clearing site data in your browser does the same.

Third parties your browser contacts

Two, and you should know about both:

One, and it is the one that serves you the page.

There is nothing else. Fonts, images and scripts are all served from this domain, so loading a page here does not tell anyone else that you visited. Typefaces used to load from Google Fonts, which revealed your IP address to Google; they are now self-hosted and that request is gone.

If we add analytics

If we ever measure traffic, it will be a cookieless, self-hosted setup that records page views in aggregate and cannot follow you between sites. This page will be updated before it goes live, with the same table. If we ever needed something that did track you, we would ask first — and we do not expect to need it.

Contact form

If you send us a message, we get your name, email address and what you wrote. We use it to reply. It does not go on a mailing list and it is not passed to anyone.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EU, you can ask what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Given the above, the answer is usually “an email you sent us”. Ask viathe contact page.
